Makasutu

This is also a day long trip where you get to visit the tropical forest park, you will be welcomed by a complimentary tea or coffee, then a boat trip or forest walk depending on the tidal condition of the river. Makasutu is an ecotourism destination and is located about 40 minutes from the hotel, there will be forest guides who will be very helpful in educating you while on the 45 minutes boat trip into the creek. Then the forest walk that is very educative and entertaining. You will learn a lot about medicinal plants, termites and so on. During this tour in Makasutu you will visit the fortune teller who is going to do some palm reading and finally you will visit the wine tapper who will give the opportunity to taste the palm juice and also will be demonstrating how they climb the palm tree to tap the wine, you will be given the chance to try to climb up the palm tree.
